Step Up To Quality (SUTQ) is a five-star quality rating and improvement system administered by the Ohio Department of Education and the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. SUTQ recognizes and promotes learning and development programs that meet quality program standards that exceed licensing health and safety regulations. The program standards are based on national research identifying standards which lead to improved outcomes for children.
Our Mission is to provide a safe, affordable, quality childcare for the Pickerington, Canal Winchester, Reynoldsburg, Groveport, and the Central Columbus Community areas. We service ages 6-weeks old to 14 years. Our mission lies in child education and family solutions, which impacts and inspires lifelong learning, as well as providing quality learning, benefiting the child, parent, staff and the community.

We recognize the importance of balanced growth that consists of mental, physical, and emotional growth. Children are encouraged to learn and explore at their own speed. TLC is more than the average childcare center, staff at Trinity Learning Center is certified, credentialed, experienced and/or working toward a degree in Early Childhood Education.
Trinity Learning Center strongly believes that to be successful Teachers, you have to be teachable. Our number one requirement is that early childhood Teachers have a passion, love, and desire in teaching, helping, serving, and implementing those tools to make a difference in each child's life. We seek individuals who are team players and are dedicated to creating and maintaining a positive learning environment.
TLC is supported by Administrators. The requirements are to have previous childcare center management experience, an appropriate degree and certification. The Administrators is responsible for the overall operation of the facility and emphasizes the best customer service practices. They’re also other Lead Roles (Assistant Director/Person in Charge) that are initiated in the absence of Administrators.
All of our Lead Teachers meets their state’s requirements to work in early childhood environment. Education ranges from a High School Diploma, CDA Credential, Associate and Bachelor’s Degree. All Assistant Teachers have related experience and are typically working towards their degree.
Each of our early childhood teachers go through a complete, detailed training program during their first week of employment. This week includes in-depth training on (ODJFS) state-specific rating requirements that include child abuse, communicable disease, first-aid/CPR, safety and sanitizing regulations, as well as other policies and procedures from ODJFS and the Company. In addition, all teachers are required to complete additional trainings within their first three months of employment.
A Mentor… is responsible for providing training for all new staff for the respective age group of children that they will be working with. Each employee must also maintain his/her yearly in-service training requirements mandated by the state that he or she works in. We provide monthly workshops as well as an annual Professional Development Days, so that all staff can benefit from the most current teachings in the early childhood field.
We also have English as a Second Language (ESL) Teachers in Spanish. ESL teachers work with English Language Learners (ELLs), or those students for whom English is not their primary language. ESL teachers work with ELLs to help them acquire fluency in English, both spoken and in the written word. ESL teachers, who may work with students of all ages. This serves as a cultural bridge for children/students, linking a student’s native culture with their new cultural experience in the United States. As such, ESL teachers help students recognize the similarities between the two cultures.
